Movie lovers who have been waiting all year for one of the city’s biggest events can soon make it official, as tickets for the general sale go on sale Monday at 12 p.m.
The festival runs from Sept. 10 to 20, bringing hundreds of films, major premieres and some of Hollywood’s biggest names to venues across the city.
For moviegoers looking to secure tickets, TIFF recommends browsing the festival lineup and planning ahead, as some of the most anticipated screenings are expected to sell quickly.
Tickets are available through TIFF’s official website and can be purchased for individual screenings, giving festivalgoers the flexibility to build their own schedule.

TIFF also recently added 11 features to the lineup, including Neil Peart: No One’s Disciple, The Liberation, The Road Not Taken, Trees are Watching, Wild Horse Nine, A Good Little Soldier and Bucking Fastard.
