Comments about „A Foggy Sunrise” book by David Kimel / Toronto

The author lived in the pre-war and post-war (WW2) Romania. He was a young child during the war, and his experiences in this part of the world at this place in history are unique and fascinating. His memories arte vivid. The story is unique and deserves to be preserved for historical reasons as well. This is a coming of age memoir during an incredible time and place in the history of the world.
Sara Disbrow, Bloomington, Indiana

„A Foggy Sunrise” was written with musch sensibility and succeded to create a coloured and real image of our life in those times. It's a living fresco, a documentary with historic value where every personage from the book is alive and anchored in time with a remarcable talent to describe precisly and paint their characters in the context o everyday life.
Victoria Dimonie, Bethlehem, Pensilvania.

The value and the attraction of this text for the reader consist in autobiografic presentation of diverse periods of an agitated childhood, which is portrated with an embroidery of authentic events, described with an uncomon charm that captivates and awakens the reader's interest who could not let down the book.
Prof.Dr.Tiberiu Seicaru, Bucharest, Romania.

„A Foggy Sunrise” is a book full of originality as style, of authenticity as content and vivacity as action. It'a ammusing an provocative. I was, but more than that, I lived myself those years in that Arcady, I loved and I suffered next to David. His testimony is my testimony. Only the format of his presentation is differnt, for only he could write it so beautiful.
Dr.Mirce Valeriu Diaconescu, Aachen, Germany.
